Alicia Watson is the CEO of Ali Watson Media (AWM), a boutique digital creative agency that specializes in Cinematography and Photography, based in the Metropolitan DC Area. The mission of AWM is to spread hope through media. It's twofold-- that's hope through presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ (in my work and interactions on a 1 to 1 basis) and hope, through countering much of the negativity, fear, and misrepresentations we are inundated with in our media and culture. AWM serves passionate and creative Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs by helping them make their visions both more visual and visible and connecting them to their audience. Alicia's goal is always to create cohesive & effective brand imagery that reaches further, faster and is full of authenticity and personality. As a visual branding strategist, Alicia utilizes her creativity, training, entrepreneurial experience and education to create an in-depth and unique experience for each company she works with. Using skills gained through being a writer, filmmaker and playwright, Alicia draws on her ability to tell a great story which is something she deems synonymous with having a brand people know, love and trust. 

 

Through speaking, Alicia aims to point visionary, purpose-seeking believers to the truth we have in Christ that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and perfectly capable of fulfilling our mission and purpose. She provides insight and strategies to find out what God says, believe it and move forward toward boldly, authentically and confidently accomplishing the things we were each placed here to do. She believes this is the foundation of building your personal brand.  

 

Alicia earned a certificate in Videography from Prince George's Community College and holds a dual bachelor's degree in Communications & Media Studies and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
