This is Bridgette’s, (also known by her Islamic name Khadijah) pursuit to happiness. Since her birth to wonderful parents Earnest and Marion Wilson in Washington, DC’s at the time Greater Southeast Community Hospital, she has made it a point to strive for her goals, which were nothing less than her grandest dreams in her eyes.  One of her dreams were to become a singer/songwriter always having a love for music, and fondly remembering her beloved Father chastising her saying, “I hope you know your schoolwork like you know those songs” The love for entertainment was rooted early.

As for now this beautiful mother of two handsome young men Christopher and Salulladeen Wilson, a devoted daughter, Aunt and friend, is now taking the strives to make her creativity become her reality.

Bridgette grew up in Maryland attended Eleanor Senior High School for 2 years and then transferring and graduating from DuVal Senior High School in Lanham, Maryland. Soon after she went on to become a licensed hairstylist and soon a respectable Medical Office Manager for a prominent Neurology Group in Upper Montgomery County, then a long stint in Orthopedics. During this whole growth period, she has had the wonderful opportunity to live in some of the hottest cities from Atlanta Georgia to Charlotte, North Carolina then it was off to Jacksonville, Florida, but her roots and passions always remained in Washington, DC. With her love for the media, fashion, beauty, entertainment and health she decided to venture into magazine publishing for the second time around. While understanding timing is everything and with a little encouragement from her husband she sat down with her pen, notebook and some great contacts and began outlining her vision, hence UStyle Magazine was born! As the Publisher and CEO of this growing e-magazine, she knows that her time is now!

In her spare time, Bridgette enjoys spending time with family, reading, spending as much time as possible on the beach and definitely enjoyed being one of the Creators and one of four former hosts of the 4Networking Chicks  Internet Radio Show as well as the Creator and Host of Ustyle Magazine Live Talk Radio Show.

This amazing ride has allowed her to appear in her very first stage play, entitled The GameChanger an informative yet funny stage play about HIV Awareness written by Playwright Margaret P. Bean and is currently filming a production for DCTV with Film Producer Mr. Mitch Credle called Redemption where returning ex-offenders are celebrated for their amazing work in the community, she has also made guests appearances on several of her colleagues in radio internet radio shows as well as hosting red carpet interviews at several events across the Washington Metropolitan Area and beyond.

Bridgette is finally living and enjoying a fabulous life after 40 and finally playing by her own rules and loving it!!!!
