A third generation Belle and 2016 graduate of Bennett College, Amber McGill has excelled in her academics and continues to serve her community with her entrepreneurial gifts and talents while honoring God by serving Him in ministry. In 2010, Amber founded GLAM Girls in Prince George’s County, Maryland. GLAM Girls is a leadership, development and mentoring program for young people, whose mission is to educate, motivate, and empower them to reach their greatest potential. This program shows young ladies how Gifted, Lovely, Amazing, and Motivated they are in order to propel them to reach their greatest potential.

In 2013, Amber began her collegiate tradition of being invited to various conferences and events in honor of her academic success. Her first invitation was to represent the United Negro College Fund at the annual Foot Locker "On Our Feet" gala in New York, New York. In the summers of 2013 and 2014, she completed service projects painting murals at the Kingdom House in St. Louis, MO with the Anheuser-Busch Legends of the Crown scholars. In August 2014, she visited South Africa to serve as a Student Ambassador with Bennett College’s honors program. In October 2014, the Executive Leadership Foundation recognized Amber as an Ann Fudge Scholar. In March 2015, Amber was selected as a Chris Paul Foundation Scholar and featured as a Rising Star on the United Negro College Fund's Evening of Stars Program that aired on BET on April 26, 2015.

On campus, Amber was elected as the 2014-2015 Bennett College Student Government Association Financial Secretary, 2015-2016 President of the Omicron Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Class of 2016 Senior Class Treasurer. She led the Class of 2016’s final project to leave a mural on the campus for Bennett Belles of the past, future, and present to enjoy and remember their purpose as a college. After graduating from Bennett College for Women with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Amber assisted investors in meeting their respective goals as an Investment Consultant at Vanguard Investments.

In 2018 Amber broke into the beauty industry as an eyelash extension artist. She uses this skill to help women feel more beautiful and empowered each morning. Amber believes that self- image is crucial to women's ability to feel empowered and live their best life.

​

Currently Amber is accepting lash extension clients, preparing for the next cohort of GLAM Girls, and working towards a Masters of Business Administration at the American University Kogod School of Business.
