Rian Reed is an Educator Entrepreneur with over 20+ years in for-profit and non-profit business development as a Master in Business Administration from the Former CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch.
She is a Speaker and Author on Culturally Responsive practices within instruction as well as recruitment and retention. She has presented her work for audiences upwards of 8,000 at institutes such as Harvard University and Millersville University, where she obtained her B.A. in Education with a focus on Elementary and Special Education.
Her collaborative book, EduMatch 2018 Snapshot in Education, was ranked number one of Amazon’s Education Aims and Objectives List even before its official release. Rian's life long commitment to civil rights placed her in roles such as Past-President of the NAACP Youth and College Division for the State of Pennsylvania as well as a National NAACP Resolutions Committee Member obtaining honors such as Citizen of the Week, Region II NAACP Medgar Evers Award, Philadelphia Baptist Association Outreach Award in Youth Services and more.
Rian Reed has been featured in publications such as The Atlantic, Washington Informer, LaunchPad Labs, and Aspiring Co’s It Girl. She is also a Global Leadership Fellow with StartingBloc, ChIPs Advancing Women in Tech, Law and Policy member, LBWomen Mentee and a member of BEACON DC.
Rian Reed is also the founder of Reminisce: Empowered Lifestyle Magazine and Reminisce: The Empowered Podcast which currently has over 500 listeners. Rian’s longtime commitment to social innovation helps drive the work that she does. She continues to the commitment to creating community through purposeful opportunities and resiliency as a Mayoral appointed member of the City of Laurel's Education Advisory Committee.

Dr. Humphrey is on a mission to help people grow personally and professionally. Trained in counseling and educational leadership, she has a unique 16-year background working in non-profit, education, counseling, and leadership. She has presented at both state and national conferences on the importance of understanding marginalized youth and best practices to serve them. Dr. Humphrey was a school counselor for seven years, where she served as the president of the Maryland School Counselor Association.
She is now a High School Assistant Principal, where she takes pride in helping students and teachers grow. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Maryland, where she works with families and children using the approaches of mindfulness, person-centered, and solution-focus.
Dr. Humphrey hopes to inspire, educate, and lead others to reach their best self.
