Dr. Sharron Credle

Dr. Sharron Credle is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Dr. Sharron D. Credle Corporation which is a consulting and training services business. Dr. Credle is also Founder and President of the UR Great Empowerment (URGE) Foundation, Inc. It is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, empower, and prepare people, particularly women, to create desired change in all aspects of life, by providing an array of activities/events that will help them transform and transcend thinking to a mindset of positive self-worth and purpose.

 

Dr. Credle is the author of The Dr. S.D.C. Structured Writing Journal, and the newly released Only in Chicago? A Southside State of Mind, & Mind Your MIND! #ThinkAboutIt - Mastering Your State of Mind (amazon.com & www.drsdc-corporation.org/shop). Dr. Credle is also the co-host of a new talk show with her sister, Sharrelle Higgins entitled ‘Sisters & Company Talking About It Live” which airs on Sunday’s at 3:00 p.m. EST on ListenVisionLive.com.

 

In addition, she is the owner of the Trademarked logos for The DrSDC Corporation and Supplemental Register for Woman: Thou Art Great. Dr. Credle is Executive Producer of the recently released CD, Woman: Thou Art Great - Women Sharpening Women Anthem (https://www.drsdc-corporation.org/ shop).

 

Dr. Credle’s occu-passion is helping women to help themselves through self-examination, deciding with determination that they are worthy, and building the capacity to change. She is the Creator & Host of the “Woman: Thou Art Great - Women Sharpening Women Conference” which was first presented on March 19, 2016. A portion of the proceeds were donated to a local non-profit organization making a difference in the lives of victims of domestic violence. The 2nd Annual “Woman: Thou Art Great - Women Sharpening Women Conference” was held on March 25, 2017 with 160 women in attendance. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Angel Watch Organization whose mission is to support victims of domestic violence. The 3rd Annual Woman: Thou Art Great - Women Sharpening Women Conference was held on March 24, 2018. The 4th Annual Conference will be held on March 23, 2019. Details to follow.

 

Dr. Credle is often sought out to speak to youth; to speak at women's events; to serve as a mentor, and to provide leadership training to groups and organizations. Dr. Credle is a life-long learner and highly educated. She has extensive experience in Organizational Leadership Training and Development, Women's Empowerment Training, Counseling & Mentoring, Organization and Human Behavior, Strategic Planning, Human Capital Development and Management, Contract Negotiations Strategies &Training, Mediation Training, and Motivational Speaking. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Strayer University in the Business/Human Resources Management Program.

 

Dr. Credle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Virginia State University; Master's Degree in Counseling from Longwood College; Master's Degree from Fayetteville State University in Education Administration; and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Development from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Credle’s Dissertation topic was entitled “Factors That Contributed to Minority Teachers’ Selecting Employment in a Maryland Public School District” was awarded “Dissertation of Distinction” by the University. She was also inducted to the Virginia State University “Powell Society” in 2011 for her Legacy Gift to the University.

 

Dr. Credle is an active and financial member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Charter Founder & former Vice-President of the Virginia State University Alumni Association-Prince George’s County, MD, and a member of the International Association for  Women. She is also a member of New Chapel Baptist Church where she has served a key role in numerous ministries to include Director of the Women’s Ministry. She is currently Director of Training & Curriculum Development for the Institute of Christian Education (I.CV.E.), a member of the Women’s Ministry, Marriage Ministry, & Entrepreneurs Ministry. Finally, Dr. Sharron D. Credle is originally from the South Side of Chicago, IL and currently resides in southern Maryland with her husband, Minister (Retired Army Major) Ira O. Credle. She is a first-generation college graduate and the second oldest of eight (8) siblings/sisters.
