She then took a substitute position at a neighborhood high school and fell in love with education. As an educator, it has helped her NOT to judge but to really accept others for who they and for where they are in life and work with others with grace and care.

She is a “Southern Girl” living in a city world, but she loves it! She has been in Maryland for 29 years and for the most part Maryland is home.

She is a Christian, a believer of Jesus Christ. One of her favorite scriptures is “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen Jude 24-25. It brings her peace knowing that he will not let her fall.
